AUTISM
Autism is a communication disorder that you are either born with or can develop until you are three years old. People with autism develop mentally and physically at a slower pace than others. To give you an idea of just how many people in the world have autism, based on statistics from 2012, one in every eighty eight people have autism, so you're not alone.
SYMPTOMS:
- Having trouble speaking
- Having trouble playing with others
- Random emotional outbursts
- Not speaking or making noises instead of speaking
- Limited, obsessive interests
- Repetitive rocking, twirling, not making eye- contact, etc...
TREATMENT:
Unfortunately, we still do not no the definite reasons infants and toddlers develop or are born with autism, so there is not a specific treatment that will help. However, some think that you inherit autism while others believe it has to do with problems in the nervous system, and scientist have done brain scans of autistic children that have shown that people with autism have a different shaped brain as well as different amounts of serotonin in the brain.
MEDICATIONS:
The following two medications are used to lower the irritability of people with autism, to lower the probability of an autistic person having hostile behavior and increasing the likeliness that the autistic person will be more friendly. PLEASE SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP FOR MEDICATION.

- aripiprazole
