BINGE EATING DISORDER
Binge eating disorder is not always treated as seriously as it is. Binge eating disorder is characterized by eating large amounts of food even after being full and experiencing a 'loss of control' or inability to stop yourself. These events are called 'binges'. During a binge one may lose conciousness (black out), forget what is happening, and/or feel an extreme sense of panic. When bingeing the only thing that matters to whomever is bingeing is to eat more food, pleace note what makes this disorder dangerous is the fact that you cannot control yourself, and this seperates a disorder and simply enjoying food. Often binge eating disorder is a way to cope for other problems in soemone's lfie.

Therapy:
Therapy can help remove triggers of a binge eating disorder and clear up co-morbid (disorders that occur along with binge eating disorder) if there are any. The two ways you can be treated are inpatient (in a hospital with more support) and outpatient (with therapists/counselors/social workers). There are many different types of outpatient treatments, such as CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). Please seek a pyschiatrist for guidance concerning medication.
