Bipolar disorder and related
Bipolar disorder is characterized as having mood swings of extreme happiness and extreme sadness. These moods occur seperately from weeks to months before switching. Bipolar disorder I is on the more extreme side whereas bipolar disorder II is considered a milder (but still extremely dangerous) version of bipolar disorder. Though it may not seem to be as 'big of a deal' as other disorders it cacn be very harmful as those with this disorder may be in distress and confused by their unstable feelings and emotions. Cyclothymic disorder is similar to Bipolar disorder I and II with shorter episodes of depression and hypomania.

TREATMENT:
Both medication and therapy are used to treat Bipolar disorder I and II. Most consider a combination of the two to be most useful, but if this disorder is not as severe in someone either or can be used without the need of any extra support.
